JULY – AUGUST 2014 ISSUE KITESURF MAGAZINE
Hidden Treasure – Finding Ledges on Maui // Autofocus slider session // Goa and beyond
Kitesurf Issue 88 really is a belter… Some staggeringly good shots, truly great features as well as all of the usual goodness. Packed full of the best riders, locations and kitesurfing journalism on the planet. That’s a guarantee… This issue includes:
The Main Features
Feature wise and we have Team Slingshot opt for the ‘fool proof’ Maui option to get some sessions in, and to bag some shots of the new kit… Mother Nature had other ideas though, so – close to losing the plot – they slammed on the brakes, pumped up, and just got in the water…
Then we tick the ‘tropical idyll’ box when Craig Cunningham and Colleen Carroll were looking to mix it up a bit for their latest trip … Hhmmm. How about Antigua with Dre? Sounds alright. And it turned out better than ‘alright’ when the wind switched and opened up some hallowed water on the other side of the island.
Then a quick hop across a couple of oceans and catch up with Liquid Force rider Rahul Malaney who, having put his time in on Maui and in Cali, decides that it’s time to see what’s on offer back home in India. Turns out there is plenty on offer… And many many more places to be discovered in his backyard – Rahul makes it his one-man mission.
We also have the lightwind test, where Mr Gratwick is back having once again tried the patience of check-in staff of airlines the world over, all in the cause of getting kit tested for the Kitesurf Magazine readership.
